OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN,
HALLOWED BE THY NAME; THY KINGDOM COME; THY WILL BE DONE ON
EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD; AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES
AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US;
AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,
BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. AMEN.

THIS ARTICLE IS WRITTEN FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO HAVE SERVED SATAN AND CONTINUE TO SERVE HIM (by the way they live their lives). IT IS ALSO FOR THE EYES OF THE FAITHFUL WHO HAVE SERVED GOD AND CONTINUE TO SERVE HIM IN THE FACE OF GREAT ADVERSITY.

The following can only be written with GOD’S HELP AND APPROVAL – considering that God needs human hands on earth, hence the writer.

Twelve years into the twenty-first century, it must be clear that the world is in turmoil and getting worse. Many people have reached the conclusion, wrongly, that God does not exist. Not only that, many do not even think about Satan. That is the way Satan wants and prefers it, as he does his malign deeds more successfully in the dark and when we are not aware.

Not everybody is aware that SATAN is a malign force and influence in the WORLD WITH AN ARMY OF EVIL SPIRITS AT HIS COMMAND. His work is clearly visible in the world as he attempts to destroy humanity, which is God’s creation.

SATAN IS IN THE WORLD since before our first parents came into the picture. OUR FIRST PARENTS ADAM and EVE, who were God’s creation, were successfully tempted by Satan to disobey God. Why would Satan want to do that, you might wonder? You will have to use your imagination about the date of the following:

ORIGINALLY, SATAN WAS IN HEAVEN. The kingdom described as PARADISE. Alas, Satan was arrogant and greedy, and jealous of God’s power, which he wanted for himself, but not power for the good. SO GOD DISPELLED HIM FROM HEAVEN, with the fallen angels, his supporters.

SATAN was ENRAGED at losing Paradise and he vowed revenge on God.

SATAN HATES GOD AND HE HATES HIMSELF. AND HE HATES ALL THINGS CREATED BY GOD, ESPECIALLY HUMAN BEINGS WHO ARE GOD’S CHILDREN. Hence all the atrocities and killing on earth, when Satan uses human beings to kill human beings. In this way he hurts and taunts God.

When ADAM and EVE disobeyed God, by eating fruit from a tree God had told them not to touch, they lost their sin free status. That means that generations to follow would be born in sin and would have to serve an apprenticeship on earth to prove to God they were worthy of eternal life in Heaven after death. This way, the qualities possessed by Satan would never enter Heaven again; such qualities would be weeded out first on earth. Never again would entry to Heaven be gained unless the qualities possessed by Satan did not exist in God’s children. Satan, however, can and does grow weeds in the world and in God’s garden on earth, God’s Holy Church.

GOD’S CHILDREN ON EARTH, serving their apprenticeship, are very vulnerable. To protect themselves from the machinations of Satan, God bestowed upon them a CONSCIENCE and FREE WILL. Our conscience tells us the difference between right and wrong, and our free will leaves us to decide whether to do right or wrong.

THE MIND CONTROLS THE BODY. SATAN IS A MIND CONTROLLER. He can and does get human beings to commit the most terrible atrocities and murder; human beings who ignore their conscience to commit evil acts, while at the same time giving their free will to Satan. Our conscience and free will, our saving grace from God, is given away, in ignorance, in order to serve Satan.

WHEN WE SERVE SATAN, HE CLAIMS OUR SOUL. WHEN WE SERVE GOD HE CLAIMS OUR SOUL.

GOD does not send anybody to HELL. We do that for ourselves. On the many occasions when Satan tries to claim the soul or souls of those who do not deserve to end up in Hell, God will rescue such souls, even if imperfect and requiring cleansing in purgatory before entering Heaven. GOD IS FAIR AND JUST.

PURGATORY IS A PLACE CREATED BY GOD FOR DEALING WITH SOULS THAT ARE NOT PERFECT ENOUGH TO ENTER HEAVEN STRAIGHT AFTER THEIR DEATH.

THE BODY IS A VESSEL FOR THE SOUL. When we die the soul leaves the body. Some souls go straight to Heaven. Some require cleansing in Purgatory before entering Heaven. Many people give their soul to Satan while they are still alive. In order to be able to commit the most heinous crimes, one has to give one’s soul to Satan first. When you give your soul to Satan, with your free will, he keeps it.

SATAN CREATED HELL FOR HIMSELF and to entice God’s children into Hell with him. Not because he actually wants them in Hell; he just wants to keep them away from God. Satan has been very successful in this respect.

We should NEVER FORGET that our CONSCIENCE AND FREE WILL is our PASSPORT to SALVATION or DAMNATION.

SATAN has many titles/qualities: ‘THE GREAT DECEIVER’ ‘THE HYPOCRITE’ ‘THE LIAR’ ‘THE BULLY’ ‘THE EGOMANIAC’ ‘MASTER OF CUNNING’ ‘POWER FREAK’ All these qualities he imbues in those people who serve HIM, while ignoring their conscience.

SATAN WAS THE FIRST DESPOT. Despots live in the dark and do not like to be thwarted. Untold suffering was and is caused by despotic ‘ leaders’. Hitler and Stalin were just two. There are many more, both living and dead. When Satan decides he wants to kill somebody, he can interfere with that person’s mind, so they kill themselves. That does not mean that he will get their soul, but he never stops trying. Another way is to take control of somebody’s mind and get that person to kill another. For my own part, my trust in God is greater than my fear of the Devil!

SATAN TARGETS THE SEAT OF POWER where most harm is done to both God and mankind, through Satanic Legislation:

State sanctioned futile war (although some wars are just and necessary) State sanctioned elimination of the unborn through abortion (depriving the unborn of what was freely given to others as a gift from God – not a gift from Satan) State sanctioned corruption of children under the guise of ‘sex education’( A description that delights Satan – stealing a child’s innocence) Satanic legislation denying children their right to have a father and a mother. State sanctioned abuse of God’s creatures (experimenting on animals) under the guise of ‘helping humanity’. Satan hates humanity! What wrongdoing the State does not stop, the State sanctions. The State can and does make it easy for wrongdoers.

Satan is clever enough to hide behind ‘good’ excuses .

INJUSTICE is a great provocation used by Satan, to start a WAR, or in ordinary circumstances. In ordinary circumstances, one person provokes another to do something awful, even murder. Guilty are those who provoke and those who react violently. ‘Turn the other cheek’ advised Jesus when he was on earth. Such reaction thwarts Satan; he is deprived of satisfaction.

HOW HUMAN BEINGS ARE TEMPTED BY SATAN

Greed for money comes top of the list for enticement. Human beings who gain by helping Satan to corrupt and destroy the lives of other human beings through addiction to DRUGS, ALCOHOL, GAMBLING, FOOD, SMOKING to name just a few. Anything that will help to destroy a person’s life is Satan’s aim. He does not like it when you are aware of how he operates; he operates in human clothing. Those who go to Hell when they die, see Satan’s real face for the first time.

THE CORE OF ONE’S HUMANITY: OUR SEXUALITY. This is Satan’s favourite target to hurt God. Again, using money as an enticement for human beings to help Satan spread the most vile Adult and Child pornography – child abuse on a gigantic scale, and promiscuity, to name just a few.

THE INTERNET has been referred to as a great scientific achievement. It is also known as the ‘DEVIL’S TOOL’. Used by Satan for corrupting the world and spreading the vile pornography mentioned.

When he was on earth, Jesus Christ said:

WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN IF HE SHOULD GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD BUT SUFFER THE LOSS OF HIS SOUL?

If we each lived for a thousand years, this time would not even register as a blink of an eye on the scales of eternity, yet many people sell their soul for the blink of an eye!

WHAT IS BAD AND WHAT IS EVIL. There is a fine line to be drawn between what is bad and what is evil. Step over the line to embrace evil and you become evil. NOBODY IS BORN EVIL! Evil is isolation from humanity. The Holocaust which took place during the Second World War is just one atrocious event in the history of the world. People asked: ‘Where is God?’ God had given man a free will and a conscience and this is man’s passport to salvation or damnation, and this free will lasts until we die. (Victims of violence and subsequent death are deprived of their free will by Satan). This does not mean Satan will have their souls. It is wrong to blame God for the consequences when human beings , of their own free will, give their conscience/soul to Satan, in order to serve him, in ignorance, by ignoring their conscience. Also, what people did not realise was that the victims of the holocaust were fast tracked to Heaven. The real Paradise their executioners would never see. GOD’S POWER AND JUSTICE PREVAILS.

Many people do not believe in God, probably because of man’s inhumanity to man. It does not mean that such people are bad or lacking in intelligence; it does mean that Satan is a powerful mind controller. If they otherwise live a good life they will have a nice surprise one day!

IF GOD DID NOT EXIST, SATAN WOULD NOT EXIST EITHER. We would then wonder about the purpose of our life on earth. Having read this far, you now know the answer! Don’t forget to thank God.

WE ARE ALL SINNERS, but many are Mortal sinners. SAINTS are in Heaven, well out of range for Satan’s machinations! The rest of us have to TRY. ‘Trying’ is a burden for many people, but what is the alternative? A dead conscience becomes manifest in a person who commits evil deeds and has no feelings for the suffering of their victim or victims; no remorse displayed; just a desire to evade justice. They might or might not escape justice in life. They will not escape justice in death.

A person suffering from a bad but alive Conscience, could think of The Prodigal Son in scripture. Such people can and do change their lives for the good and look for the right path to take. Scripture says there is: GREAT CELEBRATION IN HEAVEN over one truly repentant sinner.

WHEN JESUS WAS ON EARTH, he forgave many sins and then said:

‘Go, and sin no more’.

GOD IS OUR LOVING FATHER WHO CARES DEEPLY FOR US.

One of the commandments requires us to: LOVE GOD ABOVE ALL THINGS AND OUR NEIGHBOUR AS OURSELVES. In other words: Do not do to others what you would not like done to you. This is the blueprint for keeping Satan at bay, because no wall is high enough to contain such a malign being.

GOD CAN SEE FOR HIMSELF WHAT AN ENORMOUS HOLD SATAN HAS ON THE WORLD at this time because much of mankind has turned its back on God in pursuit of the hedonistic lifestyle, more money, more possessions, POWER and too much concentration on ‘SELF’. Much to Satan’s delight, people have stopped going to Church; evidently they do not pray either. Do they think they will live forever? Do they doubt God exists? Not now surely! These are people who have had all the advantages, with knowledge of scripture; still they stay away from Church, except on occasions for weddings, funerals, etc. On the other side, many people do not have the advantage of hearing about God other than as a fleeting mention indicating that God is seen as a ‘thing’ instead of a person. Many children do not learn scripture at school or in their home.

Would anybody be surprised if God decided to end the world as it now stands? God created the world for the purpose explained and he has the power to destroy what he created. Would God be justified in ending the world? Who would be the first to say NO? Not I, for sure.

When Jesus was on earth over two thousand years ago, he said many things, including:

HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL PASS AWAY BUT MY WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY.

What did Jesus mean by that? I could only answer such a question with God’s help, which means I will have to go back to the beginning when earth was created by God.

WHEN GOD CREATED THE EARTH for HIS PEOPLE, he created a most beautiful place for them to live/serve their apprenticeship: Think of all the beautiful birds of every glorious colour; the beautiful flowers; the sea populated with the most glorious colours of fish and vegetation; the honey bees; animals of all sizes; the lush green grass; the majestic trees. The SEA and the TREES for oxygen; the SUN to warm up the earth; the MOON to light up the earth in the dark; the STARS to ignite our flare of imagination on the ground and on the high seas. What a wonderful world God created for us. HOW HAS MANKIND REPAID GOD?

Twelve years into the twenty-first century, mankind’s greed and lust for power has and is destroying the once beautiful earth. Not only that, humanity is destroying itself, as SATAN oversees it all as he mocks and hurts God. The shortest sentence in the bible is: JESUS WEPT.

To go back to Jesus’ words about Heaven and Earth passing away: At the end of the world the earth will be destroyed and Heaven will have passed away for the wicked. The words spoken by Jesus while he was on earth will be recorded in Heaven.

ALMIGHTY GOD took pity on mankind and formed a plan to send Jesus Christ into the world to help us. First he laid the FOUNDATION STONES.

ANNE and JOACHIM; MARY and JOSEPH.

Joachim and Joseph, held in high esteem by God, were the supporting stones

Anne and Joachim were a devout married couple who longed to have a family or even one child. Their life was centred in the temple where they prayed continually to be blessed with a family. It was not to be and Anne was referred to as a ‘barren’ woman. When she was past child bearing age, Anne was amazed and delighted to find she was with child. Eventually Anne gave birth to a baby girl and named her Mary. Her parents realized Mary was a miracle child and took her to the temple to be dedicated to God.

As Mary grew up, she herself wanted to dedicate her life to God and remain a virgin.

When Mary was at child bearing age, the Angel Gabriel appeared to her and told her not to be afraid and that she had found favour with God, who wanted Mary to conceive and bear a son and name him Jesus. Mary asked how this would be possible since she was a virgin, whereupon the angel told her that she would be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. To this, Mary said: ‘BEHOLD THE HANDMAID OF THE LORD; BE IT DONE TO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD’. With these words, Mary gave her consent to become the mother of Jesus, and then the angel left her.

God knew that Mary would need somebody strong to look after her and the child Jesus and his choice was Joseph.

Joseph, like Mary, had also decided to dedicate his life to God and remain celibate. Mary and Joseph knew each other well as they frequented the same temple. They held each other in high regard and liked each other.

Having chosen Joseph as a protector for Mary and her child, God sent an angel to see him and put him in the picture about Mary’s condition. God wanted Joseph to take Mary under his roof as his wife and wait for the birth of Jesus.

Mary and Joseph realized they had been highly honoured by God, and they were happy to do as God wanted, knowing they could also continue to dedicate their life to God, and to the yet to be born Jesus, while at the same time remaining celibate.

In due course Mary gave birth to Jesus. This glorious event is celebrated at Christmas.

THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST CAN BE READ IN THE SCRIPTURES: The following refers to his passion and death.

In his early days Jesus helped Joseph in his carpentry business. Eventually, at the age of thirty, Jesus commenced his three year ministry. He had been baptised in the River Jordan by John and he had performed his first miracle at the Marriage Feast at Cana when he turned water into wine after the host ran out of wine. As his fame spread he had a large following, but as the pace became very strenuous, many fell away until he was left with the twelve he needed.

JESUS’ TWELVE APOSTLES BECAME WITNESSES TO JESUS’ WORDS, ACTIONS AND MIRACLES.

Approximately seven years after the death of Jesus, four of the witnesses, MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE and JOHN wrote the Gospels.

As his passion and death approached, Jesus rode on a donkey into the city of Jerusalem. The crowds cheered him and scattered palm branches in his path. Jealousy had not yet reared its ugly head!

That evening, in a previously selected venue, Jesus prepared a final meal with his twelve apostles, now referred to as THE LAST SUPPER. Taking bread, Jesus broke it and handed it to his apostles, saying: ‘TAKE THIS AND EAT IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY THAT WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU; DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME’. Wine was also offered to his apostles, with the words: ‘TAKE THIS AND DRINK IT, FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD THAT WILL BE SHED FOR YOU; DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME’.

The Last Supper is enacted daily in all Catholic Churches throughout the world, as THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS, when bread and wine is blessed and turned into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. This is the miracle of the Eucharist, when bread and wine is turned into the body and blood of Christ, but still ‘tastes’ like bread and wine.

In Jesus first miracle at the wedding feast at Cana, he turned water into wine. Jesus’ final miracle at the last supper also involved wine.

After supper, Judas left the room and was not seen again until dawn the following morning, when he turned up in the Garden of Gethsemane, accompanied by soldiers who would arrest Jesus. Judas identified Jesus to the soldiers by kissing him on the cheek.

After the last supper Jesus had gone into the Garden of Gethsemane, taking some of the apostles with him for company and as witnesses. During his agony in the garden, Jesus prayed to his Heavenly Father: ‘FATHER IF IT IS POSSIBLE, LET THIS CHALICE PASS FROM ME, NOT MY WILL BUT THY WILL BE DONE’. Jesus was human and afraid as he waited to be arrested. He knew that the next day he would be in the hands of SATAN in disguise, as he got human beings to do his work.

IN THE JAIL COMPOUND: Jesus is condemned to death. This day is now referred to as GOOD FRIDAY. HE WAS AN INNOCENT AND BLAMELESS MAN. He was dragged away to be flogged first.

Jesus was stripped naked and tied to a post, with his feet off the ground. Six men jailers, monsters in the employ of Satan, whipped him for three quarters of an hour – two at a time for fifteen minutes, using the most fearsome weapons that tore the flesh from Jesus’ body, until his blood ran on the ground. By the time the monsters had finished flogging, Jesus was as weak as a baby. His tormentors only stopped flogging him because they feared he would die before they had the pleasure of nailing him to a cross.

The flogging had stopped and Jesus was dragged away to have a crown of sharp thorns inserted viciously into his injured head, with blood still trickling down his face. His tormentors taunted and slapped him on the face, saying: ‘HAIL, KING OF THE JEWS’

Pushing and shoving Jesus on to the path he had to take to the crucifixion site, the soldiers laid a heavy cross on his weakened frame. When he fell, he was abused and pulled to his feet. On the way to the crucifixion site he fell three times. Shortly after his first fall, he met his distraught mother Mary, who was afraid to even touch him, for fear of causing more pain. Then a man called Simon was ordered to help Jesus carry the cross, not out of compassion, but because they did not want Jesus to die before they had had the pleasure of crucifying him. Staggering along the path, Jesus met a woman called Veronica, and she wiped his blood splattered face on a towel. Jesus had fallen a second time, when he met the women and children of Jerusalem, who wept at his pitiful state. Jesus acknowledged them by saying: ‘WEEP NOT FOR ME BUT FOR YOURSELVES AND FOR YOUR CHILDREN’

JESUS CHRIST REACHES THE SITE OF HIS CRUCIFIXION: Jesus had fallen for the third time and his cross was lying on the ground. His tormentors ripped off his garment, taking his skin with it. They roughly threw him down on the cross, dislocated his arms and legs and viciously rammed nails into his hands and feet. Next they hauled the cross upright with Jesus’ nailed body and dropped him on his face. His agony can only be imagined. The cross was then lifted and put in place.

Jesus hung on the cross for three hours before he died. During these last three hours, Jesus looked up to Heaven and said: ‘ FATHER FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO’ This means that while human hands carried out the atrocity described, SATAN was invisibly pulling the strings.

Before he died, Jesus handed his mother Mary into the care of the apostle John (who witnessed Jesus passion and death, along with Mary Magdalene, who had also stayed close to Jesus mother Mary to help and support her in her ordeal) Jesus said to John: ‘SON BEHOLD YOUR MOTHER’ and to Mary: ‘MOTHER BEHOLD YOUR SON’. Thus Jesus gave his mother to the world as our Heavenly Mother.

By now and earlier Jesus was gasping for a drink of water. His executioners put a sponge on a long stick, dipped it in vinegar and held it up to his mouth.

In the final throes of his agony, Jesus looked up to Heaven and said: ‘FATHER, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?’ His executioners laughed and mocked him

FINALLY, JESUS BREATHED HIS SPIRIT TO HIS FATHER AS HE BOWED HIS HEAD AND DIED.

To check that Jesus was really dead, he was lanced in the side. His last drop of blood came out, followed by water. Thus, in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, a little water is added to the wine.

WITH THE SUFFERING AND DEATH OF JESUS , Almighty God had and has shown the world how SATAN DEALT WITH THE SON OF GOD WHEN HE WAS ‘ GIVEN ‘ THE CHANCE BY GOD.

THE WORLD ALSO LEARNS ABOUT SATAN’S CRUELTY TO GOD’S PEOPLE ON EARTH WHEN HE IS ‘GIVEN’ THE CHANCE BY HUMAN BEINGS. Think of the Holocaust!

SATAN IS GIVEN THE ‘CHANCE’ WHEN WE IGNORE OUR CONSCIENCE AND GIVE OUR FREE WILL TO HIM.

JESUS HAD GIVEN HIS FREE WILL TO HIS FATHER AND LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR LOVE OF US AND SO THAT OUR SINS WOULD BE FORGIVEN. ‘ There is no greater love than that when a man lays down his life for others’

Jesus was taken down from the cross and laid in his mother’s arms.

As Jesus body was laid in the tomb, the authorities were afraid that friends of Jesus would come and take his body away elsewhere, so they put a large boulder in front of the tomb entrance and posted two guards outside.

JESUS’ GLORIOUS RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD happened on the third day after his death. This glorious event brought hope to the world, showing that death was not the end but the beginning of ETERNAL LIFE. After more than two thousand years, this hope has kept alive the Christian Faith in the face of great adversity. The resurrection of Jesus is celebrated on EASTER SUNDAY.

Not surprisingly, and as an independent witness, Mary Magdalene was the first to see Jesus after he rose from the dead. The Apostle John and Mary Magdalene had stayed at Jesus’ mother’s side during her great ordeal, thus both were honoured by Jesus. John by having Jesus’ mother Mary placed in his care; and Mary Magdalene by being the first to see the risen Jesus.

Before I conclude this article on God’s behalf, I am aware that many people do not know what or how to pray. A quiet place to pray is best, but you can also pray when taking the dog for a walk; on the bus; on an aeroplane; just out for a walk. You can start by saying the LORD’D PRAYER, not as a one off prayer, but a daily prayer.

Satan does not like people who are close to God, so he causes them distress by targeting their children or grandchildren or others close to them who do not have the same relationship with God they have. A person’s life would be made miserable if they were constantly worried about the way their children or grandchildren lived. Satan gets great satisfaction from such worry or distress. Better by far to LEAVE ONE’S TROUBLES IN GOD’S HANDS and say the following prayer, daily.

PLEASE GOD , SEND THE HOLY SPIRIT INTO MY LIFE TO HELP ME LIVE ACCORDING TO YOUR HOLY WILL, AND PLEASE GOD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL. And/or

PLEASE GOD, SEND THE HOLY SPIRIT INTO THE LIVES OF MY CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN TO HELP THEM LIVE ACCORDING TO YOUR HOLY WILL, AND PLEASE GOD HAVE MERCY ON THEIR SOULS.

Remember, GOD IS OUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER WHO CARES DEEPLY FOR US. But, not surprisingly, and with good reason, he is VERY ANGRY with the world. He has now taken us out of the darkness into the light of God’s truth, mercy and justice.
